WHILE YOU’RE SLEEPING
Happy Friday! Thank you for your time. I won’t be too long. I was up all night, again for the 5 time this week. With the climate so racially charged it’s hard to stay away from reporting that, which gives me even more anxiety. I’m good though, you’re here with me, so let’s be joyful. You know I’m about to ask you a question. Have you ever had a dream that felt so real, or was so specific, it felt like Deja vu? And when the time comes hopefully it will tell you to get your ass up cuz you really pissing you are not at the toilet, and he or she gone be mad as hell and talk about you to everybody if you piss on them in the bed as an adult. I’m just saying. Talking about some “I was dreamin’,” yeah my ass. Ya nasty! Let’s see what our dreams mean, and do we have anxiety in our sleep? Let’s dive in.

WHAT DO DREAMS ACTUALLY MEAN?
Yes! You can experience anxiety while you're asleep. Your body can be sleeping while your brain is processing emotions, memories, stress, and fear. And sometimes, your nervous system can react as if something is wrong, even when you're safe in your bed. Sleep anxiety can cause you to have insomnia. Ever felt like somebody slapped the shit outta you when you was sleep and you popped up? Yup. Anxiety put hands on you.
4 TYPES OF DREAMS
The key is to pay attention not only to what happened in the dream, but also to how you felt. Two people can have the same dream and associate completely different meanings with it.
1. Dreaming that you're falling: This may reflect insecurity, uncertainty, or feeling out of control. It can also happen without any deeper psychological meaning.
2. Dreaming that someone is chasing you: This might connect with pressure, fear, or something you're avoiding in your waking life. But the dream alone cannot establish what that something is.
3. Dreaming about someone who has died: Your memories, love, grief, and longing may be involved. Some people experience these dreams as spiritual visits. Science cannot confirm that a deceased person is literally visiting you.
4. Dreaming about your past: Your brain may be revisiting memories or connecting old experiences with feelings and circumstances in your present life.
GET TO SLEEP FASTER
Five things that can help you fall asleep faster
Dim the lights 30–60 minutes before bed. Put your phone away or dim its screen. Give your brain a chance to wind down.
Take a warm shower or bath. Make it part of a predictable bedtime routine.
Keep your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet. If hot flashes are disrupting your sleep, try breathable bedding, lighter sleepwear, and a fan.
Get the thoughts out of your head. Write down tomorrow's tasks and anything worrying you. Tell yourself, “I don't have to solve this tonight.”
Don't force sleep. If you remain awake and frustrated, get out of bed and do something quiet in dim light. Return when sleepy. Keep your wake-up time consistent.
